Policies and Procedures

  • Special Pricing – A discount of $5.00 per person is applied to any Friday or Sunday Wedding Package. A discount of $10.00 per person will apply to any Monday – Thursday Wedding Package.
  • CHILDREN – All children under the age of 11 may receive a children’s dinner plate. Children’s meals are $36.00 per child plus service charge and sales tax.
  • Minimums – There is a guest minimum of 100 guests for Saturday Weddings and 50 for Sunday – Friday weddings unless other arrangements have been made with our Sales Manager.
  • Bar Package Options – Champagne for your toast and wine service with dinner (1 red wine and 1 white wine from Danza del Sol’s regular tasting menu are included in your package. You may upgrade to an Unlimited Hosted Bar for $25.00 per person or $20.00 per person if you are a Danza del Sol Wine Club Member. A cash bar is also available to add on to any package for a $200.00 set up fee.
  • Plated Dinner – Your wedding package comes with a buffet. You do have the option to upgrade to a plated dinner for $8.00 per person. All escort cards or seating charts for plated dinners must be given to your coordinator at your rehearsal.
  • Sound – Danza del Sol Winery does not provide any sound system, background music, or microphone for your ceremony or reception. All officiants, musicians, Master of Ceremonies’ and disc jockeys must provide their own equipment.
  • Amenities – Danza del Sol Winery will provide clients with the following amenities at no charge: 60” round dining tables, mahogany chairs, 2 6ft tables for guest book, escort card table, etc. , 3 natural wine barrels (2 with glass tops), wooden “sweetheart table,” 2 8ft tables with linen for buffet, 1 6ft table for disc jockey (if needed).
  • Bridal Suite – Our Bridal Suite is included in your package for the day of your wedding. You may arrive and utilize the Bridal Suite no more than 2 hours prior to your ceremony unless otherwise arranged with your coordinator. No outside alcohol is permitted in the bridal suite. Danza del Sol Winery is not responsible for any items left on property during the day of your wedding or overnight.
  • Candles & Decoration – All candles must be contained in a votive or glass jar. No open flames or candlesticks are permitted. Confetti, rice, birdseed, silly string, sparklers, glitter, loose feathers or fireworks are not permitted.
  • Linens – Danza del Sol Winery will provide at no charge black, white or ivory polyester linens for your event. Any other polyester linen color choices will be a $4.00 per linen charge. Polyester napkins are available in a variety of colors at no charge. Upgraded linens are available. Please see your coordinator for details.
  • Ceremony Rehearsal – A one hour rehearsal will be conducted by your coordinator the day before your event if the venue is available. If the venue is booked, your rehearsal will take place at 10am the day prior to your wedding unless otherwise instructed by your coordinator . A rehearsal date and time will be confirmed 30 days prior to your wedding.
  • Coordination Services – Our Danza del Sol coordinator will conduct a series of meetings prior to your event to assist you in choosing the layout of your event, linen choices, beer and wine selections, and to create a timeline. Your coordinator will be onsite the day of your wedding to greet and communicate with your vendors, and to oversee your event and all staff.
  • Final Head Count – All head counts are due 15 days prior to your event, at your final appointment. This count must include all adults, children and vendor meals along with any special dietary instructions.
  • Event Time – You are allotted 5 hours for your event. You may add time prior to your event – see pricing for details. Your guests are allowed 1/2 hour after your event end time to vacate the premises, any time spent on premises. Any that time will be charged at $500 per hour and be deducted from your credit card on file immediately following the event.
  • Vendors – Danza del So Winery will provide you with a list of our preferred vendors. We suggest that you choose from this list of wedding professionals, but will welcome outside vendors. All vendors must have liability insurance. Some vendors will require a vendor meal which is $35.00 per vendor. Danza del Sol Winery does not accept responsibility for the delivery and set up from your vendors for items such a fresh flowers, cakes, deserts, photo booths or additional rentals provided by client. All deliveries from vendors are accepted the day of the event only.
  • Smoking – Cigarette or Cigar smoking is only permitted in the outdoor area by the front stairs and front patio area at the Danza del Sol Winery Club House only. In accordance with California State Law, no smoking is allowed inside Danza del Sol Winery’s buildings or restrooms.
